Privacy Policy

What happens to personal information when you use this website.

This policy explains what happens to personal information when you use this website. It describes how the site actually behaves today; if anything here stops being accurate, the policy should be updated with it.

What we collect

The enquiry form on the contact page is the only place this site asks for personal information. It collects your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, the type of project and whatever you write in the message field.

Nothing from the form is stored on this website. The details are sent straight to the studio as an email and live from then on in our mailbox, not in a database here.

Why we use it

Solely to read and reply to your enquiry, and to carry on the conversation that follows. We do not add enquiries to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful to the working relationship, and are deleted when they are not. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies for ordinary visitors and runs no advertising trackers. Cookies are only used to keep a session open for administrators signing in to manage the site.

We count visits with MonoBlock Analytics. Each page view sends the page address, the page you came from, the page title, your screen width, browser language and time zone, and how quickly the page loaded. Nothing is stored on your device and no identifier is attached, so visits cannot be linked to you or to each other.

Services this site relies on

A few third parties are involved in delivering the site. Each one receives your IP address as an unavoidable part of serving a request, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers as pages render.
  • Google Maps — the contact page embeds a map showing the studio location.
  • Resend — delivers the email generated by the enquiry form.
  • Pressable — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
  • MonoBlock Analytics — counts page views, as described above.

Links out to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with those platforms unless you follow one.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@designmatter.ae and we will respond.
